The Tour d’Europe shows what is already possible today – with HVO100

Three months, 18 countries, 2,700 kilometers: The Tour d'Europe has come to a successful end. Since the end of March, several cars and trucks have been driving across Europe with the alternative fuel HVO100 - with a clear goal: to show what climate protection potential can already be realized on the road today.
The initiative is backed by an association of fuel manufacturers, vehicle manufacturers and Bosch. The tour was scientifically supported by the TU Darmstadt and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT).
Emissions data and consumption values were recorded directly in the vehicles using the digital data platform Digital Fuel Twin (DFT) - a system developed by Bosch that is unique in Europe.
The analysis shows: HVO100 can significantly reduce CO₂ emissions - without technically retrofitting the vehicles. A strong signal for the climate-friendly use of existing fleets.
The results will be published here soon.
